On Ice Helpers
Duties and Expectations:
- Must be a current registered member of BC Hockey / Hockey Canada.
- Helpers 16 years and older must take Respect in Sport and have a valid CRC.
- Assist coaches in all duties
On-Ice-Helpers are ONLY allowed to help during practices as they are no rostered as official bench staff.
Registration For All Clinics Is Through Hockey Canada
New to Hockey? You will first need to get a Hockey Canada Number (HCR Number). Please complete THIS FORM. Once you receive your number, please register into the course below.
Courses are tracked through Hockey Canada system. Please make sure you are taking your course through your E-Hockey account and that you enter your Hockey Canada number, otherwise it will not be linked to your profile.

Criminal Record Check
All Volunteers (coaches, managers, safety persons, helpers & persons working closely with players) are required to get an electronic criminal record check. These are good for three years. TO APPLY Click on this eCRC link. Enter the access code: XKEUDVXBY4 in the space provided (case sensitive) to initiate the Electronic Identity Verification or "EIV" process. Follow and complete the remaining on screen instructions. There is no cost to this service and it only takes about 5 minutes to complete.
